UNCOMMON DIVORCE LLC was established as a mission-based company based on the “real-world” experience and observation that divorce is, in fact, more of a financial plan than a legal transaction due to many states having no-fault divorce.
Our Divorce Facilitator Process is a smarter solution for working with the divorcing couple to create a divorce solution that both parties can live with.
The process includes reframing, emotional healing, as well as a sound financial plan and agreed-upon resolution of the traditional issues like child custody/visitation, fair division of assets, alimony and other wants/needs of the divorcing couple.
Our smarter solution empowers the couple to take control of the divorce process while also taking control of their finances.

Our mission is to stop the insanity of inviting strangers (Lawyers, judges, mediators), many of whom are uncaring or incompetent, into your family’s business and future. We are here to simply help facilitate your own divorce by using our proprietary coaching and financial solution based methods.
It is our goal to teach people that they don’t have to harm their children by staying in an unhealthy marriage and risking bad modeling, in order to protect them from a bad divorce or from having the stigma of coming from a “broken home”. It is possible to keep the family intact and be divorced. They don't have to see their parents fight and attack each other through a divorce or in marriage.
Working together we change the collective unconscious that has us believing that divorce equals lawyers, judges, bitterness, pain, years wasted, savings accounts decimated and devastating effects on the kids.
Ending once and for all the common belief that we have to sweep our emotions under the proverbial rug and settle for an inequitable deal with a mediator for the sake of peace, resolution and/or the lack of strength or funds to continue.

Elena has been a trusted and successful Certified Financial Planner for over twenty-six years and a divorce consultant for over seventeen years.
In her practice as a Certified Financial Planner and Divorce Consultant, her success lies in her natural ability to connect with her clients, to listen and actually hear the said and unsaid wants and needs of her clients and work tirelessly at crafting a sound solution.
After consulting on many lengthy, litigious divorce cases that had gone the legal route, Elena developed the proprietary UNCOMMON DIVORCE process, an empathic and holistic approach, based on her professional experience counseling her clients’ through their divorce cases.
Elena has advocated for bringing both parties together and is now focused on “healthy divorces”, without “war” and without the visceral anger that characterizes many common divorces. The behavior of the divorcing couple through the process can have an intergenerational effect on the children and that is the true genesis of the founding of UNCOMMON DIVORCE.
